Collet Catcher Sub / Ball Catcher Sub For Well Completion Operations
The Collet Catcher Sub is a kind of Ball Catcher Sub, which is for hydraulic-set packers are installed on the tubing to catch the seal ball that sets the packer. The catcher sub uses a ball to set and seal on a seat, after the packer is set, increased pressure forces the ball seat down unil the fingers snap back into s groove. The sub is then full opening, and the ball passed on down the tubing.
